In the first hours of this fifth night, the whole crew is getting worried... It is not the approach of the ice zone in the fog nor the closeness of the competitors which worries us … No, no, it is that will happen to Queen Mary 2’s ranking following its entrance in the restricted zone.

The International Jury of the race will have no problem to evaluate the deliberate action of this error and the time saved, the commander and his 2000 men crew have beneficiated from. Rumour has it, some refer to him as a pirate! Others even demand a 3-day penalty. On board, the MACIF trimaran, the Basque expert who is known for staying calm, is now loosing it and mentions a potential disqualification, the restricted zones being considered as obstacles … In brief, the English crew is in trouble.

After discussions between crew members MACIF, we have a suggestion: we recognize the superiority of Queen Mary 2 in this race and wish that she is not too heavily penalized. As we learn at the sailing school, we ask to the captain of the Queen Mary 2 to make a 720.
